He was the FEI High Score horse at all of his Colorado shows, USDF Region 5 Prix St. Georges Champion, and #1 in the US with Old/NA with USDF All-Breeds Awards at Prix St. Georges. Morocco often earns 9’s on gaits, 10’s on extensions, and numerous scores above 70% at the FEI level of dressage from top international level judges. Passage, piaffe, and extensions are natural talents. This honest and kind stallion possesses solidarity of mind and a tremendously dependable work ethic that have proven to be of infinite value in his training. Morocco is noted for his strong, compact, correctly uphill conformation that will keep him soundly competing for many years, and enormously flamboyant movement that will give him a competitive advantage in the international arena. He is also a talented jumper. Morocco’s foals are consistently ranked among the top scoring youngsters in the US at their inspections and are noted for their level headedness and athletic ability. In 2002, at 7 years of age, Morocco won the Region 5 3rd level Open Championship, earning 9’s for gaits from Olympic level Judge Stephen Clarke (Great Britain) who stated, "This is the nicest horse I have seen for a long while. He has the RARE ability to REALLY collect and extend". Nationally, Morocco ranked 8th in the nation at USDF 4th level Horse of the Year, and 14th at 3rd level. He was ranked #1 nationally at 3rd and 4th levels by Belgian Warmblood and ISR/Oldenburg, and #1 with Rheinland Pfalz Saar International at 4th level and reserve champion at 3rd level. Morocco also earned the overall Open High Score award at most of his shows while competing at 3rd and 4th levels, with numerous scores in the 72% and above range. As a 6 year old in 2001, Morocco was shown lightly and was undefeated at 3rd and 4th levels with all of his scores in the high 60’s and 70% range. Linda Zang, FEI Olympic judge stated, "his gaits are amazing". Morocco was the first and only stallion in the United States to complete the BWP’s rigorous "Stallion Performance in Sport Requirements". As a 5 year old, Morocco finished his first full year of showing with the USDF as the #1 Oldenburg in the United States at 1st and 2nd Levels, and #1 Belgian Warmblood in the US at 1st and 2nd levels. Overall, he was ranked in the top 20 horses in the US among all breeds competing at 1st level and at 2nd level and earned a dressage score of 84.6%, with all 9’s in the collective marks at a sanctioned AHSA/USDF Show. Morocco also won the USDF Region 5 Championship in 2000 at 1st level. Morocco will compete at Prix St. Georges and Intermediare in 2004.
